EX-01 is the inaugural release of the Exceptional Series — a singular, limited expression of coffee at its highest level. Presented in extremely limited quantity, each bottle reflects a deliberate pursuit of precision, balance, and origin character.
At its core is Carlos Arcila’s Colombian Gesha — a coffee celebrated for its exceptional clarity and aromatic structure. Through competition-grade roasting, this lot has been handled with restraint, preserving its integrity while drawing out refined notes of jasmine, citrus, and honey.
The intention was not to transform, but to reveal — allowing the inherent character of the coffee to present itself with purity and definition.
Roasted by Matthew Robley-Siemonsma, SCAE Roasting Champion and World Competition contender, and brewed in collaboration with Gordon Howell, Brewers Cup Champion, this release represents a meeting of two disciplines at the highest level of their craft.
EX-01 is a study in precision, origin, and expression. A release defined not by abundance, but by its absence.
